Scriptural Worldview

We esteem the Bible as God’s living, inspired, inerrant Word. All doctrine, faith, and practice must align with the ultimate authority of God’s Word. Faithfulness to the Bible is essential to living in a manner that pleases God; Scriptural Foundation: “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Tim. 3:16-17

Presence of God

We believe that God manifests His presence in tangible ways where He is welcomed corporately and personally through worship, prayer, the ministry of the Word and any expectant invitation of His Person. We are dependent upon the Presence of God as the distinguishing mark of His pleasure and blessing. Scriptural Foundation: “For where two or three come together in my name, there I am with them.” Matthew 18:20.

Accountable Discipleship

Discipleship is the process of becoming more like Jesus through intentional relationships which are founded on the permission to give and receive Biblical guidance in a loving way. We pursue accountability in relationships that promote the formation of Christ in individuals and in our church body as a whole. Scriptural Foundation: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20.

Relationships

All people, this with Christ and those without, are recipients of God’s love. We demonstrate non-negotiable love through honouring and blessing others as well as giving and receiving unlimited forgiveness. We provide care and empowerment for ministry through small and large group settings where we give and receive personal mentoring. Scriptural Foundation: “For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16.

Kingdom Advancement

Our desire is to see the highest need of all humanity – a personal relationship with Jesus – come to every person within our local and global reach. Therefore, the stewarding of our resources, (money, people or talents) is generously shared for the purpose of seeing the world transformed by the power of God. Scriptural Foundation: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, [10] Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:9-10.
